The agriculture research, education and extension are significant factors for promotion of production and efficiency of agriculture and allied sectors. According to doubling farmers income committee systemic transfer of knowledge from lab to land is very poor due to prevailing 1:1162 ratio of extension workers which is very critical. Moreover, the proportion of households receiving any kind information about animal husbandry is as low as 8 per cent (National Sample Survey Office, 2014). In this context, ICTs can become an essential means for gathering information, learning, communicating, providing and using services. Further, with the introduction of internet and social media, there is an increase in the utilization of these tools among the agricultural and allied sector researchers, professionals and other stakeholders. Owning to these facts, the project is developing e- extension modules in the form of websites, mobile applications and video clips for capacity building of farmers and other stakeholders.
